Morpheus.Network Fee Structure
Morpheus.Network Fee Structure
The next step in the evolution of Morpheus.Network is our revenue structure. As we continue to sign partners, end users, and facilitate transactions, the team has explored the various ways fees will be incorporated into the platform, and ultimately provide revenue back to the business. By understanding the flow of money in the supply chain, countless discussions internally, and data gathered from testing with real customers — we’re excited to reveal the first look of how Morpheus.Network’s fee structure will operate.
Morpheus.Network’s Fee Structure Basics (TL;DR)
- Reseller agreements and custom modules development are at the center of revenue
- Fees and revenue will always be collected from the end user
- During each financial transaction, funds are held by Morpheus.Network, then subsequently divided to each party (including referrals)
Custom Modules Development
Value-added servers and custom module development are at the core of Morpheus.Network’s IoT capabilities, and allowing developers to create their own solutions will allow for more creative use cases and a better user experience. Modules, which are developed by both Morpheus.Network and the community, will allow partners looking to build additional modules to collect revenue themselves from their customers. A portion of the revenue from custom modules will be compensated to partners/developers of the module, with the remainder retained by Morpheus.Network. Module scenarios include creating AI opportunities, securing park access for trucks, customs and border protection, custom order releases, and more.
Morpheus.Network will start with a third party marketplace to incentivize solution providers, and will continue to grow the marketplace.
Platform Reseller
Another sales channel that will be introduced is to allow resellers the opportunity to receive revenue and help Morpheus.Network grow initial reach to end users. Resellers can work directly with organizations to help us meet a wider audience faster and at a lower sales cost. These “solution providers” can unlock further opportunities, as Morpheus.Network has already began working with custom brokers in the US, Mexico, and Argentina with an aim to digitize their supply chains. We expect to onboard even more territories in the next 9 months.
The reseller or distributor agreement allows end users to be compensated when selling Morpheus.Network modules to solve specific use cases, collecting a fee of 5% to 30% of the transaction value. These custom modules can be sold to customers and anyone in the Morpheus.Network ecosystem.
Platform Transactions
A smaller avenue for Morpheus.Network’s fee structure is with certain on-platform transactions on a pre-sale block on the system. Transactions, specifically financial (crypto-to-fiat, fiat-to-fiat, and fiat-to-crypto), will be charged to end users at a rate of 1% and is case-dependent — the transaction fee will not be charged in every transaction. This allows Morpheus.Network to continue providing a middleware solution that solves the pain points assocated to high transaction fees in global trade.
Masternodes
We’re considering the use of masternodes and token pools in the near future. Look out for future announcements in the coming weeks as we continue to explore this area.
