MORPHEUS.ROADMAP

The Roadmap

  • April 2016
    IDEA & FORMATION

Dan Weinberger and Noam Eppel meet to lay the groundwork for a full-service, global, automated, supply chain platform on a distributed ledger. Formation of Morpheus.Network's North American & Asian Divisions.

  • Q4 2016 - Q3 2017
    PRODUCT DEFINITION & TEAM GROWTH
Morpheus.Network begins building out business requirements based on individual industry experience and one-on-one interviews with potential customers.

As platform requirements are constructed and the product definition finalizes, Morpheus.Network is staffed with team members that deliver a high level of expertise in their respective fields.

Initially brought on as Lead Advisor, Roger Crook, ex-CEO of DHL, Global Forwarding, Freight joins Morpheus.Network as a full team member. His role as Team Lead for Global Logistics brings a wealth of leadership and experience in global trade.
  • Q4 2017
STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP WITH AWARD-WINNING TECH FIRM WINJIT

Strategic Partnership with WINJIT Technologies Inc, creators of IoTsense and Predictsense.

  • Q1 2018
    FORMING TRUSTED ALLIANCES
Morpheus.Network joins several alliances, including the Blockchain in Transport Alliance, which include top names in transport such as Fedex, UPS, SAP, Salesforce and more; Ethereum Enterprise Alliance, the world’s largest open source blockchain initiative; and the Trusted IoT Alliance, which connects Internet of Things (IoT) technology with blockchain.
  • Q2 2018
ADDITIONAL PARTNERSHIPS WITH LEADING TECH COMPANIES

To further secure and reinforce the platform's safety and reliability for our users, key partnerships are made with highly innovative firms in various segments of technology, including Chainlink, Hacken, AccessPay, Holochain, and INK Protocol.

  • Q3 2018
    PRESENTATIONS AT GLOBAL CONFERENCES
Dan Weinberger hosts a presentation at the United Nations UN/CEFACT in China as the UN Supply Chain Expert. In the same month, Noam Eppel hosts a presentation and hackathon at the Malta Blockchain Conference in Malta.

Morpheus.Network continues forward with global presentations in the US, Canada, Mexico, Taiwan, and more. See our latest appearances below.
  • Q3 2018
PARTNERING WITH INDUSTRY LEADERS SAP, IBM, AND PLUG AND PLAY

Secured partnerships with two of the largest technology solutions: SAP and IBM. Morpheus.Network joins both the "SAP PartnerEdge" program and the "Startups with IBM" program, providing direct line access to resources, services and benefits for building industry-leading integrations and ensuring best practices for our middleware solution.

In Q1 2019, Morpheus.Network was selected by Plug and Play to join their Innovation Program in Sunnyvale, CA.

  • Q3 2018
    INITIAL PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT
Developed the architecture for the middleware platform. Created our first Digital Footprint for connecting and automating end-to-end supply chain, including origin, tracking and tracing, custody and compliance, and payments. By radically improving upon the experience of supply chain managers, we're saving them both time and money.
  • Q4 2018
    CREATING SOLUTIONS

Together with leading importers and exporters, Morpheus.Network has analyzed several compelling use cases with disconnected flows: massive pain points and inefficiencies associated to goods, documents, and payments. Understanding each of the generic supply chain processes is our starting point for module and workflow development for several pilot programs.

  • Q4 2018
    CUSTOMER PILOT IN DEVELOPMENT: IMPORT/EXPORT
This pilot includes a Chinese manufacturer, a North American distributor, an automotive exporter in Russia, and an avocado exporter from Mexico. Generating, storing, and sharing documents for customs compliances and automated logistics allow for greater efficiencies for importers, exporters, distributors, and manufacturers.
  • Q4 2018
CUSTOMER PILOT IN DEVELOPMENT: SECURE PARK ACCESS

To strengthen the safety and security of supply chains, Morpheus.Network is able to access, store, and share documents on the blockchain. The methodology can be used for trucking parks, duty free enterprise zones, border crossings, secure parking lots, railways, and ports. Ongoing pilots include trucking parks and food security for supermarkets.

  • Q1 2019
CUSTOMER PILOT IN DEVELOPMENT: FRAUD PROTECTION
Consumer brands in the perfume, cosmetics, and luxury segments are able to create a Digital Footprint to integrate the data of raw material manufacturing, transportation, marketing, and PoS process; and then record this information on the blockchain. The Digital Footprint can be scanned using a QR code or RFID tags that has been printed on packaging, individually labeled, and attached on physical containers such as bottle top, cork, or foil - and hashed on blockchain.

Fraud protection events that show up in the supply chain are flagged and mitigate losses from retail's multi-billion dollar pain point: black, grey and counterfeit products.
  • Q1 2019
CUSTOMER PILOT IN DEVELOPMENT: COLD CHAIN CUSTODY & COMPLIANCE

For temperature sensitive products, we are working alongside a pharmaceutical company in Mexico and premium meat exporter from Argentina. Our use case utilizes IoT to build a Digital Footprint, using geo-location, temperatures monitors, humidity pings, and other triggers along the supply chain, as well as document compliance.

  • Q1 2019
CUSTOMER PILOT IN DEVELOPMENT: OIL & GAS
By leveraging machine learning across all systems, this use case focuses on optimization. Event-driven geo-location, IoT and machine learning to improve railcar visibility and delivery SLAs to optimize supertanker loading.
  • Q1 2019
    GLOBAL PLATFORM LAUNCH

Global Morpheus.Network Platform launch for real-world global supply transactions and logistics optimization on the mainnet.

  • Q2 - Q4 2019
CUSTOMERS AND PARTNERS SIGNED IN NORTH AMERICA
Software as a Service (SaaS) platform will allow customers and partners to leverage our emerging technologies with their legacy infrastructure (such as Enterprise Resource Planning (ERPs)) focusing on using the platform in the USMCA region. Create a Digital Footprint for documents and storage, cross-border customs, and compliance (such as Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Release, Food Drug Administration (FDA), and Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval).
  • 2020-2024
NEXT STEPS IN GLOBAL TRADE OPTIMIZATION

Scale to Product-Market-Fit. Build a brand. Multiple uses cases, verticals, and geography. Grow customers, transactions and revenues 3T2D.

Further expansion includes Value Added Resellers (VAR) and Independent Software Vendor (ISV) that can integrate the platform to their solutions. By selling to end users, partners can also develop their own integrated modules within the Morpheus.Network ecosystem to meet their supply chain requirements.
